Respect - what did I do to Respect someone?

Today for writing we had to write 8 sentences on how we respected someone today

the person I respected was: Tyra

How?

well since Tyra and stick to each other like glue you could say were always helping each other.

Like each morning she cames to school I greet her with a good morning and a smile and a hug.

and at interval I also held the door open for her so she could walk throught.

My second one was my Teacher Miss Birtch, in the morning when she came to class I said good morning to her and gave a smile before entering the class room and sitting down. Yesterday we also came up with some goals, my goal was to sit in a good posture while listening since I sluched a lot. Today I did my best and listened in a good posture or tired but it was still good in the end.

Reading - Camping

It's Term 3 and the start of a new week

For reading we were given a Task to finish before Friday, our task was to make a google drawing of 5 thins we would bring on a camping trip or if we were going camping

after that, we did a screencastify on why we would bring those 5 thins

Stand Children services

What is stand?

Stand is a camp for children of the age of 5-4 up to the age of 13

at Stand there are many new things to try out

What is at Stand?

If you go to Stand in the weekdays hoping to get away from school, Have no worry stand has a school like classes also, but more fun stuff like easy worksheets and drawing and ETC

If you go to Stand in the holidays don't worry if you think it will be no fun, because there will be a lot of fun stuff to do, you could go new places or even go to the swimming pool they have!

When your at Stand the rooms will be between girls and boys, the boys on one side and the girls on the other side, they each have their own bathrooms and rooms, the rooms will be split up to 3 or 2 or 4, if the rooms are split up it still means that the rooms are whole but it means that there will be 3 rooms separate with 2 or 3 or 4 beds in the rooms.

and the outside part is huge and big and it has it's own playground to play in, as well as it's own food place where you go to eat breakfast, morning tea, Lunch, and dinner.

If you don't have any parents who drive, fear not some people from Stand shall pick you up and bring them back to camp with you!

Stands has lots of fun actives that would involve your social and physical and spiritual well being

and is a welcoming place of many new people to meet for the time that you spend there!

8BH Bake sale - Project

1 more week till the end of the term

a week ago 8bh decided to do a project, we came up with suggestion and stuck them down and did one whole big pick out of the suggestion.

What we picked was fundraising, instead of doing a hot dog sizzle like the school always seemed to do, since sausages were really yummy, we picked that we would make some of our own small food and then sell them.

When we first decided on the fundraising we picked that the money should go to the Sva, a group of many people that clean up the city, halfway through the thinking on of the yr7 teachers came in a told us what they did last year and who they gave their money to.

after listening to Mr. Mitchless idea's on where the money should go we did a little pick, we could either pick for the money to go to the Sva or the 24/7 youth workers, we picked the youth workers because there was a family in need of food that didn't have any.

after the decision we were given jobs, a group of 2 will do the poster on a computer, then print it out and some other 2 would draw little cards as to say come and buy food.

we were going to sell the food on Tuesday the 26 of June

so we were told to make the food on the weekends which made senses, then we would bring it in on Monday and put it in little bags so it would live through the day, so then on Tuesday, everything would be ready for selling.

On Tuesday for the 2nd period a while near morning tea we got everything set up for selling, there was so many stuff to eat and it all looked so yummy, there were cupcakes, loli cake, banana cake and ETC.

In the end, we managed to get the total amount of $140 & 70 C's.

Matariki Reaing

Matariki has passed so for Reading were doing a post about some facts about Matariki!!!

we were told to read a story about Matariki then put our facts down

Since Everything was already in the story.

Here are some of the facts I got from the story, but the 15 of June one was from my blog from an older post.

Matariki is a Mori new year, it's when the star Punga marks the sky, on Matariki many things can happen, Like a hangi where food is cooked in the ground or the Kapa Haka where people dance to a song, and ETC

Hauora!

In class for kete we are learning about wellbeing,
We watched 2 videos explaining about Wellbeing or Hauora and then was told to put what we do for Social, Emotional, Physical & Spiritual on a slideshow and take a picture and tell why we stuck what we did down.

Social
I like Talking to my friends at school cause I know I'm not alone also goes with discord as I have people to talk to there to

Emotional
I love hugging people it keeps me happy

Physical
Whenever I try to do something like running, I lose engry quickly and my feet and ankles
Begin to hurt as well as my throat


Spiritual
I love Music, I love all the calming songs that people make, I love talking to my friends on discord because they like the same thing as me as well as my real life friends
