The question I am Answering: Biscuits
Biscuits are yummy and loveable and everyone loves them, but how did they get their name. There are many facts about biscuits that you might want to know
Biscuits got their name from a Latin word Bis meaning Twice and coctus meaning baked., They were invented in the 19th century as in 1892 Alexander Grant made the digestive biscuit.
From the start of the Nineteenth Century “Fancy biscuits” Began to produce, the Main Varieties of the biscuits were called Captains, Water and also Cabin as the name suggest.
In the late 1830’s, The Firm was selling about twenty different kinds of Biscuits, From the Captain's the Abernethy and the Oliver Varieties, To Macaroons and Sponge tea cakes and ETC.
Biscuits can come in many sizes and shapes but most of all their yummy
