The first day of school for the term for music we were told to do Piktochart on what Matariki is.

Today for the first day of school for the term we did a comic strip for Cybersmart,

we made our comic on a place called ToonDoo Here is my ToonDoo The first slide is meant to say have you finished drawing Tyra but came up with what you see now, the last slide is at night.

Graphs

In maths for Term 1 we were told to make a graph and pick a question that involved the school, we could ask the year 8's and year 7's, our question was should we do fitness in the morning or only P.E and not Fitness.

Out of all the responses we got P.E as most picked then Fitness.

KETE

In Kete for term 1, we did some group tasks, we were put into groups of 2 or 4 and had to finish 3 tasks within 3 days, here our Kete work that holds out tasks that we did.

Writing Recount (Birthday)

Introduction

It’s finally February the 16th my birthday I longed for, I finally get a day off school!!, Every time I have my birthday it is always at school, this year I begged my Mom if I could stay home for my birthday like other kids, and she said yes, I was so happy about that, that word YES could not describe how happy I was, I never liked going to school on my birthday when other kids got to stay home on their birthday.

Starting story

February the 16th a birthday known to the oldest child in the family… Me, or rather teenager since I am now 13 and officially a teenager YAY since it was my birthday and I had no school even tho it was a Friday or Friyay, I slept in, if you live with me, you should know that sleeping is a big big BIG part of my life, Every time I go to sleep I always seem to wake up late but, I decided not to today, since it was my birthday, and even tho it would be the weekend the day after Friday, I wanted to do something besides sleeping.

So… I sat up in bed and got on my laptop and read some stories on Wattpad, I began reading some Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Gravity falls fanfictions on Wattpad.

Then halfway through my reading, I got out of bed and asked for my birthday gift.

Now my birthday gift was not a toy or something like that, it was money, the money was already on the card so I didn’t need to wait for it to be stuck on the card, I didn’t want any toys for my birthday or clothes I wanted money for my game Maplestory so I could get 10,000 NX for the cash shop, and I got that.

During the day my mum skype called Aunty Jell, she said that she would give me 50 dollars for my birthday, but I had to wait for a month before I got it.

I didn't mind waiting since it meant I would get more than 10,000 NX, so I was really glad about that, as the day went by I leveled up my maplestory character ChipQueen, ChipQueen was a demon slayer, basicly in the game there were different classes, I picked a warrior class, there were many classes Warrior, Bowman, Thief, Mage and Pirate classes but I picked a demon slayer which was a warrior class, when you pick demon slayer you can be 2 classes, A Demon Avenger or a Demon Slayer, I picked the Demon slayer because it had OP 5th job skills and did a lot of damage, you first start off on lvl 10 with your first job skill, then when you get to lvl 30 you get your second job, then when your at lvl 60 you get the third job then lvl 100 you get 4th job.

I have got 4th job as I am lvl 182 close to lvl 200, when you get to lvl 200 you get 5th job, 5th job is where you can then beat chaos bosses and get good skills and go to many new places and do new quests to lvl, the maximum lvl in maplestory is lvl 250, many people have gotten to lvl 250, but some are still within lvl 235 or 210 or just 209, I plan to get my Demon Slayer to lvl 250, or try to at least since when you get a higher lvl like lvl 200 it’s really hard to lvl and would take about 1 week or 5 days just to get to the next lvl, the only way you could get past a lvl in one day was if you were power leveling, Power leveling is where the player gets a big amount of EXP which levels them up faster.

After I was done with my lvling, it was 3.00, I waited a while and soon enough Tyra and her sister Kaley came for a visit to say hi before leaving, even if it was just a hi I was happy that they came.

It soon got really late as it was dinner time (FORGOT WHAT I HAD FOR DINNER)  then after Dinner we waited awhile before having cake.

After we waited I was called out to the kitchen for cake, Mum lit the candles as I blew them out and then began to eat the sponge cake, I wanted Ice cream cake, but it would have melted as soon as mum got home from the groceries, I was upset about that… but at least I got cake RIGHT???

Well after all this was the best birthday ever, let's just hope that next, I’ll get more money so I’ll be able to get 30,000 NX :)

Music (Term 1 Week 11 Last week of the Term)

For the last past weeks, we've been getting ready for our performance on Wednesday the 11th of April 2018.

over the time of the weeks, we did some practice rounds, where we stood in our place on the stage and the people in the middle of the stage also known as the boat would sing and do some moves while the rest were people that stood on the side, they were the island, they stood still but also sang the song.

For our show were doing a Moana song called we know the way.

Now yesterday was Monday, yesterday we did some practice rounds of what would happen on Wednesday for our show at assembly tomorrow.
