For our EOTC week tasks, this would be my second one as the adrenalin forest one was my first,

For my second task, we had to write the history of Omaka camp another place we will be going to.

Fairy tale Problem

Is turned into a girl and still forced to go as one to the ball comes face to face with the prince.

And needs to find a way without the prince falling for him and a way to get out before 1 in the morning, due to the doors being guarded by guards , and no one can leave till the end of the party which is at 2 in the morning, and the way he came in is locked due to coming in through the window, is caught finding a way out by the guards without A leaving pass and is forced into the dungeons getting stuck in the problem of his even more than he already is With another to solve to get out of this kingdom to get home before his parents find out he’s gone missing, he tries calling for his fairy godmother but go no response but pure silence through the thick air that travels down into the dungeon from the higher level above the dungeon, but as he comes to find a way out of the dungeon cell With the help of a hidden key within the cell, he comes to with another problem, ahead of him is a blue door.

When he opens the door he’s come to a hallway and another door as he continues on the hallways get smaller and bloodier, as he wonders how this place came to be since he didn’t see it on the way into the dungeon to the cell he was stuck in, as he continues he see another door which takes him to a weird elevator room with a note and another long journey ahead of him down these weird hallways.

Looking forward to EOTC

In week 7 the year 8's are doing EOTC! just before the end of the year to where we turn to year 9's

The activities I'm looking forward to is...

The thing I'm most excited to do is Adrenalin forest, going there would be my second time since I went during our Hornby primary EOTC week with my friends.
I'm hoping that I could get to the top as last time I was almost there but didn't make it in time to the top.

The thing I will be nervous about is the height. When I went there I was so high up I thought I was going to fall, even though I had a harness on and was safe from falling, I still felt so scared thinking I was going to fall. There was this one part where there were steps but they were far apart and hard to reach since they moved when you tried to step on them.
The part of the obstacle I'm looking forward to is to redo those steps again so I can do them with no fear and be able to pass them like it was nothing.

I think I'll enjoy just going there again to face my fears of the thought of falling and hitting rock bottom to my doom and to hopefully make it to the very top before leaving.

Math Blog post

In Math, we were working on probability and each group was given a task for my math group we had to do some experiments on probability

Our L.O: we can complete a mathematical investigation

Step by Step: First off I got a 10c's coin from my teacher and a dice as I sat at a desk and began my work before I used the dice and coin I write down a sentence which had missing spaces which I needed to fill then I could use the coin, I need to put down 2 circles and then flip the coin 20 times, each time it landed on either heads or tails I stuck H or T in the circles, Then I made a chart and rolled the dice 18 times before making a tally chart and sticking how much 1's 2's 3's 4's 5's and 6's I rolled.
Then I did some answers after that like which number was rolled the most.

My results of this were I got 10 heads and 10 tails
for dice, I got 5 rolls of 1, 3 rolls of 2, 2 rolls of 3, 3 rolls of 4, 2 rolls of 5 and 3 rolls of 6

My evidence shows that a 1 on a dice is easier to get, and a middle chance of getting 10/10 for both heads and tails.

Science expreiments

On Wednesday last week, we had science like every other Wednesday, we did a little experiment that involved counting.

we were given a beacon, some ice, and a plug to a tap and a lighter, this tap was a fire tap, to control fire level, and we also had a thermometer to stick in the beacon, First off we grabbed ice and stuck the ice in the beacon, before grabbing the plug plugging it in, lighting it then grabbing a tripod which was a little stall with a pad we stuck the beacon on with the plug underneath, the plug is also known as a Bunsen burner which was a metal weird looking thing that attached its self to the plug, then went in flames, after that we counted how long it would take for the ice to melt with the thermometer in while counting, I counted to 60 before pulling it out and Tyra sticking down what we stopped at then we did the whole thing over again but using the same ice.

Our next experiment involved crystals dangerous ones heheheheh, we were given beacons with water as we grabbed a small crystal with tweezers and stuck it in the beacon then waited to see what happen, after a while the water started turning purple a galaxy like purple, then once it had dissolved we stuck down what had happened as a result.

Bottle rocket

last term for science we had made Rockets out of Bottles, first we discussed what our rocket would look like in a pair my pair was Tyra, first off our design was meant to be a kawaii rocket but we only got a wing on sadly and never got to finish due to the rockets being launched while me and others were at Koru games.

But overall it was said to be successful in the rocket launch that day.

Fairy tale make over

So its the second week of term 4 and our teacher wanted to spice writing up a bit, by making us make fairy tales... or well recreating them as our own but still using the same vibe as that fairy tale so people know which fairy tale it is.

-My Orientation-

Sometimes in a fairy tale, there is always a princess that falls in love with the prince or the prince falls in love… Well, thats definitely not how it goes for me…Instead of being a girl… I’m a guy and there is always a way to happiness

I was born in a village and traveled to the kingdom castle on a warm night on the 3rd of October of 2021 alone without a single soul of my family knowing.

My family has 5 people including me. Shiro is my dad, he's a chill guy but is also someone you can rely on. My Stepmum… we don’t really get along her name is Allura as she lives with us now she brought her two girls, Pidge and Fae.  Pidge is the only one who really gets me when dad and that woman and her child are not around I guess you could Say its more peaceful, I guess. And… this is what I go through each day

KEITH, GO GET THE MAIL “YES MAAM” *I walked over to grab the mail to see a big letter as I picked it up and began reading* “Looks like something big’s going to happen… not like I’ll be able to go anyway“ *Sigh*

DLO SolveEmoji

In Maths our homeroom teacher decided to make math a bit fun, instead of just using numbers she used Emojis to solve questions.
We were given some questions with emojis, and a number at the end, the question would either be something x something + something = ??? but with emojis, the task was to find out what number the emojis were.

After we had finished all out tasks we had to make a solve Emoji of our own.

Personification

When we got back from Japanese we were told to sit out on the veranda outside, and outside laid a big piece of paper. At first, it was confusing as to why to there was paper there, but then our teacher came out with a can of shaving gel.

She told us to pass it around and think of what the can made you feel when you first held it.

At first, I felt joyful and free and canny (Can puns???)

Then she told us one by one to spray the shaving gel onto the paper and to stick how much we were hurt by others.

when I did this I felt nothing.

Then we sat down, and she then last of all told us to hand it around again and tell her what we felt like after the can was empty.

I now felt Empty and alone. Afraid of what might come. but it still somehow felt heavy but it was unnoticeable.

to understand the people who are lonely but don't want to show it by spraying their pain away onto a piece of paper to make it feel better.

Recount of Jo Berludi Chapter 1-3

Chapter 1 - Introducing Jo Burludi

The book starts off with an introduction, there is Jo and Woof Jo's Dog.

it is said that where ever Jo goes Woof goes to expect for when Jo has to go to school on the weekdays, Even Jo's mother doesn't know how much time they spend together each day, During the night Jo's mum thinks that Woof is asleep in his kennel but Jo brings them inside due to not being able to think of Woof cold alone outside.

Jo's mum gets Burundi a detective kit for his eighth birthday, it came with binoculars, magnifying glass a torch, fingerprint powder, a notebook and a pen with it along with a camera and a cap and mustache.

Chapter 2 -. The missing underwear Mystery

In chapter 2 Jo's mum couldn't find her phone so being Jo he helped her by dialing her mum's phone number for her cell phone, which will ring her mum's phone before he leaves he gets a call from the P's about missing underwear and needs help.

Chapter 3 -

In chapter 3 Jo, Woof and Sal go to Mr. and Mrs. P to solve a mystery, the 2 said something about their underwear going missing, at the start Jo questions Mr. and Mrs. P about what they were doing when the underwear went missing, they also asked for info on how much and what the underwear that went missing looked liked, during then they went to the P's yard to see a piece of fabric dangling over the fence, to take it off to see underwear but is confused on who would want big Underwear?

Cybersmart

For Cybersmart we started doing a project which you would make something that could fix anything on your blog or something you see on a blog that bugs you and wish to fix it.
For this project we were stuck into a pair, my pair was one of my good friends Kortney.

For our project we made a slideshow on how to make your blog comments better.

why must we show RESPECT?

Why do we show Respect? And why do we have to?

Respect, its... Well, its something you don't have to pay for, its something that everyone can have any time and day, its something that everyone should use, even adults.

We show Respect because its something that everyone over the world uses when you show Respect it can go a long way, it can make someone's day, it can even make your own day better with just a few words, words we don't think much of them, but what we say affects people more than we know because people put up strong faces when inside they feel like their droning in pain because of those words.

Your words mean more than they seem.

We have to show Respect, because its kind and nice, it makes others happy, and even you, showing Respect, you could say nice stuff to them or even hold the door open for them or give them a warm hug or welcome. You may even find that one person who will stick with you till the end because you were nice to them you showed them kindness and even if you did agree you came back and said sorry.

Dear Mr Mitchell

This is Ruby from 8Bh. Even if I don’t really like fitness, I find it important to have fitness and this is why I am writing this email to you. It’s to tell you to keep fitness and how to make everyone else like it.

So far we do fitness each Monday, Tuesday (not year 8’s), Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, To me having fitness everyday will tire people out especially the year 7’s. Maybe you could only do Monday due to that being a start of a new week and Wednesday and Thursday. The reason why I didn’t stick Tuesday in is I think it’s a bit unfair that year 8’s don’t have to do it, but year 7’s do. Maybe you could give the year 7’s Tuesday off to so the year 7 & 8’s can do fitness together. Instead of year 7’s doing fitness alone on Tuesdays, and I also find it more fun with my friends from the year 7 classes. Some year 8 & 7’s might think the same to.

When it comes to the running around the court with the skipping and side stepping we could do that first since when I look at others they all seem to try and find a way to back out. Due to being too tired and breathless, if we did it at the start, I positively think then people will have the energy to do the rest of the fitness.

I also think that there should be some small little tiny fitness for the people sitting out due to there being to many each day. You could give them their own little circle, and another teacher does some little exercising with them instead of them sitting down and not exercising all the time while everyone else does. I think it’s important even for them to get fit. If they sit out all the time they never will.

Science!

What did I do in science?

Well yesterday we made paper planes or as our science teacher called them Gilders

No Idea what the purpose was for making it but we made our gliders and went outside and there them like planes, some made changes to their glider to see if there was anything different... you could say there was... Sort of

Halfway near the end of school I started getting a bit too hot and started getting loppy which ended up with me saying "How does it feel knowing you've killed millions of people!" what I meant by that was, you would pretend people were in the paper plane and each time you crashed you killed innocent people...

Well apart from that it was fun

a couple couple days ago, more like 2 weeks ago or 1... we made parachutes fun right?

we had to make it which was a pain since it also involved string which got tangled with the other string, which made it hard for it to fly... kinda

But in the end, we all had fun!

Free writing

He saw it coming from around the corner but he still kept walking, he kept walking knowing what laid ahead for him but he was Allen Walker, he was a Noah a feared creature that the order was looking for, "Allen?" a small voice that walked beside the albino  "yes Road?" Allen said as he looked a the small Noah, "thank you for being here with us" she said "Your welcome Road... Now let us see out to the Order and get this mission done so we can go back home to the Earl shall we Road" the small girl nodded as the two walked out from around the corner

"Allen..." Face to face with Allen was an old friend of his named Lavi "Lavi" he said back to the redhead, "why did you have to join the Noahs, we could have found a way to stop your execution..." the Redhead said "I joined them knowing nothing would stop the Order, I joined the Noah because I was one of them, I joined them because I didn't want to put anyone in danger... and I joined them with my free will Lavi" Allen said knowing the Cheif was hearing this "everyone misses you tho Allen..."

"I'm Sorry Lavi... I'm sorry it had to be like this... but whats been done has been done and there is no going back for me now... I'm happy where I am right now and that's the only thing that matters right Lavi?

You said back then that what makes me happy makes you happy" the albino said as a tear slipped down his face "I remember..."

The two gave a glance before walking off "hn well that was awkward Road..."
