Recount of Jo Berludi Chapter 1-3

Chapter 1 - Introducing Jo Burludi

The book starts off with an introduction, there is Jo and Woof Jo's Dog.

it is said that where ever Jo goes Woof goes to expect for when Jo has to go to school on the weekdays, Even Jo's mother doesn't know how much time they spend together each day, During the night Jo's mum thinks that Woof is asleep in his kennel but Jo brings them inside due to not being able to think of Woof cold alone outside.

Jo's mum gets Burundi a detective kit for his eighth birthday, it came with binoculars, magnifying glass a torch, fingerprint powder, a notebook and a pen with it along with a camera and a cap and mustache.

Chapter 2 -. The missing underwear Mystery

In chapter 2 Jo's mum couldn't find her phone so being Jo he helped her by dialing her mum's phone number for her cell phone, which will ring her mum's phone before he leaves he gets a call from the P's about missing underwear and needs help.

Chapter 3 -

In chapter 3 Jo, Woof and Sal go to Mr. and Mrs. P to solve a mystery, the 2 said something about their underwear going missing, at the start Jo questions Mr. and Mrs. P about what they were doing when the underwear went missing, they also asked for info on how much and what the underwear that went missing looked liked, during then they went to the P's yard to see a piece of fabric dangling over the fence, to take it off to see underwear but is confused on who would want big Underwear?

Reading - Camping

It's Term 3 and the start of a new week

For reading we were given a Task to finish before Friday, our task was to make a google drawing of 5 thins we would bring on a camping trip or if we were going camping

after that, we did a screencastify on why we would bring those 5 thins

Matariki Reaing

Matariki has passed so for Reading were doing a post about some facts about Matariki!!!

we were told to read a story about Matariki then put our facts down

Since Everything was already in the story.

Here are some of the facts I got from the story, but the 15 of June one was from my blog from an older post.

Matariki is a Mori new year, it's when the star Punga marks the sky, on Matariki many things can happen, Like a hangi where food is cooked in the ground or the Kapa Haka where people dance to a song, and ETC

sva (Reading)

What is the Sva and what do they do?

The Student volunteer army is also known a Sva for short

They are a group of adults who let teenagers and kids join them to help clean the city

While it might not seem fun, there are new people to meet and out of all of that who knows cleaning just might make you some nice friends

With some nice Food

The Sva was started by a man named Sam Johnson after the September earthquake in Christchurch
He started a 200 member Facebook page to co-ordinate any students who wanted to help
In the end he ended up with 7000 to 8000 students to help.

What did I learn?
I learned that it was about cleaning up the city, from it's name it almost sounds like a military school to see what its like to be in the war.

Reading

For reading, we had to do a task the task was to write and draw what our favorite hobby is...

My favorite hobby is reading stories on wattpad, the bottom picture is the words as to why and the top is the picture of what wattpad looks like.

It makes me feel Calm and quiet and also a fangirl due to the romance stories

Diary

Dear Diary

It all happened on a sunny morning Sina was getting me and Niko ready for school like a normal school day, I felt the ground shake as I dropped to the floor, it took only a minute for the Earthquake to finish, I got up slowly before grabbing my bag and waving goodbye to Sina and Mika as I ran down to the shoreline of the beach, to turn my head to see that there were fish splashing in small puddles, I looked over and saw water coming towards me but it was huge, Fish were falling onto the muddy ground as the wave got bigger and bigger, I thought this was the end of me, till I felt someone grab my hand, I had turned my head to see Niko pulling me away from the wave, “Run was all Niko said to me before I had nodded and began to run, I ran an ran but when I turned my head the water was getting closer and closer, I saw Niko climbing up a tree to safety, I turned my head to try to find a safe spot but found none, I was swept off my feet as I bobbed up and down in the water trying to stay afloat, it felt like my whole life was flashing before my eyes, I opened my eyes to try and stay a float, I looked around to find Niko, I looked up to hear a name calling for me, I remember it well enough for it to be Niko as he had pulled me up onto the tree branch with him.

After all that I can’t believe we all survived.

Hurricanes

Hurricanes are big violent storms that move without the world and bring hazard to people's lives.

Hurricanes have been known for being very strong like a Tsunami.
But instead of a big wave that could likely take over a whole city or country, it's a flood that makes it way into its destination through clouds that make rain, it would be normal rain but 3x faster and the rain would fall faster and would not stop till it's satisfied with its work.

A hurricane can come with a flood and some storms and fog and sometimes high rain.
-Please be careful of hurricanes.
