What do I remember from the Film (Film study)

Coraline Hated how her family was all about work and how they never give her attention.
She found out about the Otherworld and Other mother and father.
She Liked the other world from her real world
Because she was given better food, and the other family could do what her family could not, and the other family could give her attention that her real family couldn't because of work
but when he found out that if she wanted to stay she had to have button sewed on her eyes she then rethought her decision
Making a run turning back to her real world but is unable to find her real family.
So she has to go back to rescue her real family from the other world, During the movie, Coraline challenges the other mother to a game (During the movie it was then found out that there were 3 other children like Coraline, but they didn't run away they let the buttons be sewed on this eyes cause they wanted more, and once they were sewed on the other mother took them to a room and ate them alive)
The game was if she found both 3 eyes of the children and found her parents the other mother would let her free.
but if he failed to do both, Coraline would be stuck with the other mother forever and have button sewed on her eyes and then likely eaten alive.
But Coraline managed to do both and because of that the other mother got angry and turned into this creepy skeleton metal woman, and was also able to swallow a key and cough it back up.

Later on Coraline had tricked the mother and found her real parents within a snow globe, she recused them but in order Coraline had to throw a cat at the other mothers face, after a few seconds the room turned into a spider web and the other mother turned into a spider, Coraline had managed to escape, and managed to free the 3 children the other mother had eaten, but she had one last job, Coraline had to hide the key that opened a small door to the other world, so Coraline hid it in a well along with one of the other mothers metal hands. Which managed to get past the door and try to grab the key but failed and was then smashed and wrapped up in a blanket along with the key and thrown down into the well, hopefully to never be touched (I mean that well was deep...)

Term 1 work (Maths)

Have you ever wondered how high numbers could go up to well

Last Term in Math we had done so many stuff like
- Large numbers
- flying around the universe in our Airbus
- do the planets have equal spacing
and many more

Starting with Large numbers from Last term we were told to search up large numbers to see how large numbers could get.
For example

Ten                                  1 trillion                      10 sextillion               100 nonillion          ETC
Hundred                          10 trillion                    100 sextillion             1 decillion
Thousand                        100 trillion                  1 septillion                 10 decillion
Ten Thousand                 1 quadrillion               10 septillion               100 decillion
1 million                          10 quadrillion             100 septillion             1 undecillion
10 million                        100 quadrillion           1 octillion                  10 undecillion
100 million                      1 quintillion                10 octillion                100 undecillion
1 billion                           10 quintillion              100 octillion              1 duodecillion
10 billion                         100 quintillion            1 nonillion                10 duodecillion
100 billion                       1 sextillion                  10 nonillion              100 duodecillion

In all honesty, I didn't even know numbers could go this high until we were told to look up large numbers.

And it's scary enough to see this much zeros
Septillion - 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (10^24)
And also Duodecillion - 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (10^39)

And before the end of that project, we were given questions
How many litres of water in the sea -
And
what is the biggest number of grains of sand on a beach?

To answer those questions
- 1,260,000,000,000,000,000,000 Liters of water in the sea (1.26 x 10^21)
- 7.5 x 10^17 which is also known to be about seven quintillions or five hundred quadrillion grains

As well as last term we did flying around the universe in our Airbus.
Basically, the point of the name was to see how long it would take to get from one planet to another planet in an Airbus
So as a class we picked a planet in groups and did the distance of the planet and the time it would take to get there, starting from earth to the planet we wanted to go to.
Here is a small example of what we did

(Reason, why some answers may look the same, is because we did this in groups)
(So each new line going down is a new group)
(And after we were finished with our work on the doc we were then given a class slideshow which we picked a planet and then we stuck the information we did on the doc on the slideshow we were given)

Did you ever wonder if the planets were equally spaced?
Well in Maths we were given the task to find that out.
We put ourself into groups and begun to get the distances of each planet in KM then we turned them into Decimals and then Percentages to get our final result

(We started off in our book and begun written done the distances of each planet)
Sun to Mercury - 57.91 Million Km
Mercury to Venus - 50.05 Million Km
Venus to Earth - 261 Million Km
Earth to Mars 54.6 Million Km
Mars to Jupiter - 533.4 Million Km
Jupiter to Saturn 612 Million Km
Saturn to Uranus 1.4 Billion Km
Uranus to Neptune 1.7 Billion Km

(Then we moved to a sheet to start our true work)
(Here is what I and my Buddy managed to do, Not much but our first copy had much more and was much more complicated so I'm glad it turned out like this)
Planets                    Distance in Km                   Decimal          Percentage
Sun to Mercury -   57.91 Million Km                     0.01                 1%
Mercury to Venus -   50.05 Million Km                 0.01                  1%
Venus to Earth -   261 Million Km                         0.06                  6%
Earth to Mars -   54.6 Million Km                          0.01                 1%
Mars to Jupiter -   533.4 Million Km                      0.11                 11%
Jupiter to Saturn -   612 Million Km                       0.13                13%
Saturn to Uranus -   1.4 Billion Km                        0.3                  30%
Uranus to Neptune -   1.7 Billion Km                     0.38                38%
Total ----->                 4.669 Billion Km                 1.01               101%

Can experiment (Science)

In Science today we did a small experiment... PUTTING A CAN OVER HOT FRIE THEN PUTTING IT IN WATER. Well doesn't seem like much but it was fun

Aim: To observe contraction in gases

Method: (1) Set up the bunsen burner
(2) Pour about 50-20 ML of water into your can. It should be no  more than 1/4 full
(3) heat the can of water above the flame of the bunsen until steam is seen escaping from the top, then carefully grip the can with the scissor tongs while making sure you have a firm grip on the can, then left it off the gauze mat
(4) Quickly but carefully, invert the can as you plunge it into a container of water

Hypothesis: Maybe it would explode like. explode explode.
(It didn't fully Explore... it just made it's self smaller as in when you crush a can with your hands)

Equipment: Can (With water) Ice cream container (With water) Bunsen burner. Scissor Tongs

We had proceeded to put our equipment up, we filled the container up with water to the line, and stuck a bit of water in the can, before lighting the bunsen burner with a lighter and turning it to the blue flame and then holding the can over the fire with the scissor tongs.

We waited for a bolling sound before lifting the can off of the fire, and then quickly into the container of water, to then instantly hear a crunching sound from the can.
(Result after the experiment)

In Abomination by Robert Swindells, a character important to the text as a whole is Martha. Throughout the text, Martha becomes more confident by making friends with Scott, standing up for herself against the bullies at her school and rebelling against her parents.
One way that we see the character of Martha change in the text is when she makes friends with Scott. Before Scott started at her school, Martha had no friends and felt sad and isolated by her peers. Her classmates didn’t want to work with her, they moved away from her seat and wouldn’t share their equipment with her.  When Scott arrived, Martha hoped she might finally have someone to connect with. Luckily, Scott became her friend and Martha was able to open up and share with him about the abuse she was suffering at school and at home. This leads to Scott finding out about abomination- her nephew- living in the basement. This friendship is important to the text as a whole because if Martha hadn’t met Scott she wouldn’t have grown the confidence to stand up to her family and tell the secret of Abomination. Another way that her newly found confidence from Scott will help Martha is when she decides to stand up to the bullies at school.

--------

Another way we see Martha standing up to her bullies is when she Insults Tracey Stamper calling her ugly,
I find the reason that happened was because of the time Martha spent with Scott, Without Scott in the Text then Martha wouldn't have changed for the better leaving her as the hopeless girl she used to be.
Another way we see Martha stand up to her bullies is when
