For the last past weeks I have bee doing Passion projects, my choice was Musical and were doing a play called Bugsy Malone. I play as a waiter and is very happy with my role even if I don't do much.
So far we've gotten through the whole play but some things could be added.
Like Maybe for my role when Fizzy is singing I could stand there and dance along a bit and admire him.
3 More weeks till school is finally done for the year.
This week is week 7 meaning week 9 is our last, for Monday were doing a writing task on what we liked about this year.
What I liked about this year was the Koru games,
Why is this my highlight?
Well last year I never got the chance to do the Koru games because I didn't think I would be good at it so I didn't try for it and also because I was playing netball in year 7, unlike this year I was playing football.
Which I'm kind of glad I am now.
the first day of the Koru games was kinda chill, we got on the bus got off had the opening ceremony then got back on to go to our destination but some people stayed behind which her likely to be the netball and rugby.
I also liked the Koru games because its where people could get competitive with others.
It also helped me interact with the people on my team more.
and most of all I had my best friend Tyra with me.
In class, we watched a video (Video above) and were told to write the perspective of the girl or the dog, from the start of the video, here is what I ended up with.
I sat within the midst of the crowd as I was handed a birthday present, I opened the lid to see a yellow bow, I picked up the bow as I looked at it with an unhappy smile, why a bow? did I do something bad? I thought as I watched my uncle leave and soon come back as I watched him bring in a golden retriever.
My face lit up as I began to stir in my seat as I gave a wave to little puppy as the puppy was handed to me as it licked my face, my smile grew, I felt so happy.
I stuck the yellow bow on the dog as I smiled for the camera.
-Later that day-
I stood near the wall frame as my Uncle got a pencil as he put a line as to how tall In was, I bent down so he could do it for Yellow my puppy, I decided to name her Yellow from the bow I was given for her.
I watched as my uncle drew a line under Yellow as I smiled, life couldn't of been better.
-years later-
I was standing against the wall I knew too well as my dad stuck a line above my head as he left, I grabbed a small dog biscuit out of my pocket a made a circular motion in front of yellow as I laughed and leaned down giving it to her as she ate it.
I then began to ruffle her fur as I smiled walking away.
-at school-
I sat on the sports bench at school while the popular girls were picking who they wanted in their team... of course, I didn't get picked but laughed at as I sat there playing with the ball in my hand.
-home-
I had a ball in my hand as I stuck it on the ground and played of a bit of football with yellow, she was a great buddy to play with when no one would, even if she was a dog.
she would always be there for me.
-Next day school-
I was leaning on my knee on the grass as we were going to get our photo taken as a group as one of the girls pushed past me which made me end up standing for the photo instead of kneeling, I didn't mind, kneeling hurts my knees, I gave a small smile with my mouth closed as the man taking our photo told me to give a big smile, I gave a small shy nod as I brushed some hair from my face giving a small as I showed my teeth that had braces on them, I looked to my side to see the girls laughing at me.
when they laughed at me I just felt like everything stopped I didn't
know what to do...
After that, I rushed home as I threw my bag down laying on the sofa as I heard the paw sounds of yellow asking to be allowed in, I got up as I opened the door for her as she followed me to the sofa as I sat down as she sat on the ground next to me, I looked at Yellow and gave a small laugh as I covered my mouth as Yellow stuck her paw on my hand, she really was a blessing for me having her made me so happy.
I grabbed her paw as she leaned on my hand as I got up and did the circular motion waiting for her to make a circle motion, I gave a small frown as she lays on the ground with her head on the carpet
In motion of being finished.

What did I think of this task?
I loved this task because I could be free with what I wanted to write and how I would write the story.
Did I like this?
What did I like it yes I liked it?
why? Because it was involved animals, and I myself loves animals very much.
Hello there Emma my name is Ruby C I am from Hornby high school, I am a year 8 turning year 9
If I had won the Summer learning journey and was given $50 what would I get?
Out of all honesty, there is really only one thing I would use it for.
I would use it to get something off a game I played called closers, or if I had nothing to use it for, give it to my mum to buy food and stuff for my baby brother since I get paid every fortnight and I can wait to get paid to get what I want.
So maybe I would give it to my mother which would help her out a lot with food, clothes and baby stuff for Mathew my little brother.
I believe that blogging is helpful, when it comes to the comments saying like, This Was really god ETC and what they liked and what the person could change.
I honestly say it makes me happy knowing people read my stuff and might make others happy about it too.
this helps me in ways because if your doing like a topic that others have done from other classes.
You could see what they did so you get a good example of what your doing so your task is much more easier to do and to complete.
When it comes to blogging comments there will always be someone to comment on your work, which leads to saying what they liked and what you could change so you can fix your work to make it better
like adding full stops or comers or capital letters after a full stop and it also helps you cause you have to go back to your work to reread it to find those mistakes that you need to fix.
